John Siemionko Obituary

John S. Siemionko “Smokey”, of Suffield, CT died Thursday, March 31, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital. He was the loving husband of Ann (Smigel) Siemionko who predeceased him in September 2010. He was born on the family farm in Suffield on January 13, 1925 to William and Anna (Sadlowska) Siemionko. A veteran of WW II, John served in the US Army. He was a foreman at Royal Typewriter in Hartford for many years and then went to work and live in Leicester, England and Kingston-Upon-Hull, England as a consultant for Imperial Typewriter, a division of Royal. His family joined him and they spent many happy times traveling throughout the British Isles and Holland. He also worked at Hamilton Standard until his retirement. John was a member of Holy Family Church in Enfield, CT. He is survived by his daughters Sally & Susan; brother, Chester; brother & sister-in-law Charles & Jean; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers William and Anthony. John will be deeply missed by his twin daughters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday April 4, 2011 at 10 am in Holy Family Church.. There are no calling hours.
