John Wotka

John M. Wotka, 60, of Enfield, died peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Hartford Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts on August 8, 1954, John was the son of the late Jan W. and Grace M. (Gebo) Wotka. A lifelong resident of Enfield, John was employed by Hallmark and retired in 2009. He was a NASCAR enthusiast and enjoyed playing setback with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Bernier) Wotka; his four step-daughters, Anjanet Mahon of Enfield, Christy Quail and her husband, Sean of Enfield, Tina Rhodes of Enfield and Trisha Potter of East Windsor; eight step-grandchildren; his two sisters, Janice and Donna; his brother-in-law Larry; and many nieces and nephews. John’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Service of Remembrance at 7:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield, CT 06082. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center http://www.harthosp.org/cancer.
