Joseph "Joe" P. Crispina, 77, of Suffield, beloved husband of Patricia (Liucci) Crispina, having celebrated 42 years of marriage on July 2, 2008, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center, Springfield, MA. He was born October 14, 1930 in Northampton, MA son of the late George and Angelina (Gallino) Crispina and had resided in Suffield for the past 3l years and in Enfield prior to that. Joe was employed for 20 years as a truck driver for Della Construction, Enfield and later was a charter bus driver for Shortline of CT and CT Transit having retired in 1994. Joe's greatest enjoyment in life was his three beloved grandchildren he also enjoyed getting away on family vacations. He was a past member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 50 in Enfield, and was a member of St. Patrick's Church in which his was very active years ago. Along with his wife, Pat, Joe is survived by his loving son and daughter-in-law, John J. & Kim Crispina of Windsor Locks, his three beloved grandchildren, Anthony J. Crispina, Lauren Lena Crispina and Christopher Usher and a cousin, Lorraine Gallino of Holyoke, MA. Besides his parents he was also predeceased by a brother, George Crispina, Jr.
Funeral services in celebration of Joe's life will be held on Monday July 28, 2008 with a procession forming at 9am from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels to St. Patrick's Church, Enfield for a 10am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Enfield Street Cemetery, Enfield. His family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday July 27, from 4 to 8pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels.
