Joseph Cunningham

Joseph T. Cunningham 73, of Enfield entered into eternal rest on Thursday April 2, 2015. Joe was born in Hartford the son of the late Edward J. Sr and Eileen O’Connor Cunningham. Joe was an Enfield resident all his life. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, an avid reader, he loved to play chess and had a special interest in computers. He was a 1959 graduate of Cathedral High School and earned his BA from the University of Connecticut. Joe was formerly employed as a computer programmer analyst .Joe is survived by a sister Eileen Russell of Madison CT, a sister Joan Payne of Brewster MA, a sister Rita Hartley and her husband John of Enfield and a sister in-law Eileen (Bourque) Cunningham of Somers, along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Edward Cunningham Jr on February 6 2015. Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 8, 2015 at 11:00am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church Pearl & High Streets Thompsonville Sec of Enfield. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery. The Cunningham family will receive relatives and friends at St. Patrick’s Church from 10:00 AM to 11:00am. Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels of Enfield is in care of his arrangements. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick’s Church 64 Pearl Street Enfield Ct 06082 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
