Joseph J. Podosek, Jr. 65, of Longmeadow, MA and formerly of Enfield, CT passed away Thurs. Aug. 24, 2006. He was born Oct. 9, 1940 in Enfield, CT son of the late Joseph J., Sr. and Stella (Polchlopek) Podosek. He was a graduate of Enfield High School Class of 1958. Joe was employed for over 35 yrs as a truck driver traveling thru 49 states, also Canada & Mexico. He had resided in East Texas for many years and recently moved back to the area. He is survived by a son Gregory Frew and his wife, Michelle of Surprise, AZ, two grandchildren, Justine & Zachary, a sister, Patricia Podosek of Hampton, NH, a aunt Isabelle Mackowicz and her husband, John of Ellington, his good friends, Ron & Lynn O?Connor of Enfield, Cindy Ottani of Longmeadow, MA, Bill & Janice Trombley of W. Springfield, MA, & John Howard of Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial for Joe will be held on Monday Aug. 28, 2006 at 12:30pm in St. Adalbert?s Church 90 Alden Ave. Enfield. Interment will follow in St. Adalbert?s Cemetery. Joe?s family will receive relatives and friends Monday prior to the mass from 11:00am ? 12:00pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd.
