Josephine "Jo" (Gleason) Morris, 69, Born in Manhattan, New York on July 31, 1939, passed from this life on Monday December, 8, 2008 at the Suffield House to be reunited with her beloved husband Joe who passed a short 4 months ago. She leaves her children; Frank Cegelski and his wife, Lexi of North Bend, WA, Debbie Petrone and Jane Brodtman both of Enfield, Joey Morris of Putnam, CT, Kenny Morris and his wife, Jennifer of Aliso Viejo, CA and Joyce Daigneau and her husband, Harold of Pomfret, CT. Her beloved grandchildren; Nick Petrone, Tyler and Hunter Cegelski, Jennifer Brodtman, Jennifer Loebner, Brian Daigneau, KC, Jay and KJ Morris, Great Grandchildren; Christian, Cameron and Torre. She was the best friend anyone could ask for. At the age of 17 she was separated from her friend Margie, who relocated to Costa Rica. To this very day, 50 years later they have stayed in touch with each other on a monthly basis. She was a loving outgoing and strong person with a heart of gold. She would never miss an opportunity to spend a day at the casino. Every summer she looked forward to going to Misquamicut Beach. She loved the action from the porch just as much as the ocean itself. When 4 o'clock came it was Judge Judy time. Her presence will be greatly missed. She left a lasting impression on everyone she knew and met. She will remain in our hearts forever. <br>Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Suffield House and especially to ALL of our friends and family for your support and prayers. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Sat. Dec. 13, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of her family in the Hazardville Cemetery. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Enfield Dial-A-Ride 299 Elm Street Enfield, CT 06082.
