Karen Cotnoir

Karen Cotnoir, 45 of Enfield beloved wife of 23 years to Gary Cotnoir entered into eternal life on Thursday Jan. 19, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. She was born on Oct. 26, 1960 in Rockville, CT resided in Enfield most of her life. Karen was a graduate of Enrico Fermi High Class of 1979. Karen was employed by Accu-Time Systems, Ellington for the past 10 years. A member of Holy Family Church, a member of the Dynamoms Women's Hockey of Enfield, avid bingo player, Karen was a very kind and considerate person who always looked to give rather than receive. Besides her husband Gary, Karen is survived by her two loving sons, Joseph and Jeffery Cotnoir, her sibling, a sister, Kathie Glidden of E. Windsor, a brother, Willis Glidden & wife, Rodie of MA, a brother, Michael Glidden of MA, a brother, Ed Glidden & wife, Eileen of MA, also survived by her father and mother in law; Donald & Barbara Cotnoir of SC, a brother in law, Stephen Cotnoir of GA, a brother in law, Tim Cotnoir & wife, Kathy of E. Longmeadow, MA, a brother in law, Michael Cotnoir & wife, Julie of Enfield, a sister in law, Christine Kupchunos & husband, Jim of S. Windsor, also her very best friend for 40 years, Laurie Maticke and husband Steven of Enfield, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services in celebration of Karen's life will be held on Tuesday Jan. 24, 2006 at 9:00am at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Holy Family Church 23 Simon Rd. Enfield. Karen's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday Jan. 23, from 4:00 to 8:00pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels.
