Katherine Duni
Katherine "Kitty" C. Duni, 78, of Enfield, the beloved wife of Michael Duni, entered into eternal life on Monday March 30, 2009 at Kindred Hospital Parkview in Springfield, MA. She was born on November 3, 1930 in the Thompsonville Section of Enfield daughter of the late Leon and Mary (Tokarczyk) Carenza. Kitty attended local schools, was a 1948 graduate of Enfield High School and lifelong resident of Enfield. A devoted and loving wife, mother, sister and aunt her life revolved around her loving family. Besides her husband, Michael of 54 years Kitty is also survived by her son, Michael L. Duni of Maine, her sisters, Christine Vella of Enfield and MaryAnn Fleming & husband, John of Enfield her brother, Peter Carenza & wife, Grace of NC, a sister-in-law, Irene Carenza of Simsbury along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, John Carenza and brother-in-law, Joseph Vella. <br>Funeral services for Kitty will be held on Thursday April 2, 2009 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 (Noon) in St. Adalbert's Church 90 Alden Ave. Enfield, followed by internment in St. Patrick's King St. Cemetery, Enfield. Her family will receive relatives and friends prior to the Mass from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield.
