Kathleen “Kathy” M. Mackey, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest, at the age of 61, on Wednesday (August 14, 2013) at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT. She was the loving wife of 34 years to Francisco Sabater. Kathy was born on July 20, 1952 in Hartford, CT the daughter of the late Charles and Rosemary (McGourn) Mackey and was a lifelong resident of Enfield. Kathy was employed for 20 years with the Town of Enfield’s Day Care Program. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family especially the grandchildren. Besides her husband Francisco, Kathy is survived by her three beloved daughters: Toni Mackey & Bobby Markowitz of Somers, Yvette Sabater & Ray D’Amato of Enfield and Elisa Sabater of Enfield, her cherished grandchildren: Brandon Rosa, Aryana D’Amato, Nathan Markowitz, Gionny Sabater, Ava D ‘Amato, her siblings: Kenneth Mackey of E. Windsor, Joyce Villerreal & husband Ricardo of Meriden and Lorry Jacques & husband Raymond of Enfield, her niece: Belinda Villerreal and her nephew: Richard Villerreal. Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours on Sunday Aug. 18, 2013 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. The funeral procession will form at 9:00a m on Monday Aug. 19, 2013 at the funeral home to St. Patrick Church Enfield, CT for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery, Enfield.
