Kenneth G.M. Scott 79 of Enfield entered into eternal peace on Saturday February 2, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital Hartford. Ken was born in Worcester MA February 27, 1928 the son of the late Michael and Anna (Carlson) Scott and resided in Enfield for Forty Nine years. Ken was a United States Navy Veteran having served during W.W.II and the Korean War. He was formerly employed by Pratt & Whitney Air Craft for thirty seven years and retired in 1989. Ken was a private pilot and enjoyed flying for many years He was a former member of the Enfield Elk's. He is survived by his beloved wife of fifty five years Marion E. Scott, also his loving family a son Kenneth M. Scott, three daughters Susan O. Scott, and her lifelong partner Steve Comkowycz, Sandra E. Elliott and Sharon L. Scott all of Enfield. Ken also leaves his ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Beatrice Costello of Worcester MA., and many nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters Charlotte D'Amelio, Pauline Bergquist and Phyllis Wall. Ken was also predeceased by a son in-law David Elliott Sr. Funeral services in celebration of Ken's life will be held on Wednesday at 11:00AM from BROWNE MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPELS 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield burial will be with military honors in Hazardville Cemetery. The Scott family will receive relatives and friends at Browne Chapels on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
