<br>Leone (Knapp, Remington) Gonyea 66, of Enfield, beloved wife of Raymond Gonyea for over 21 years, passed away surrounded by her loving family Monday March 20, 2006 at home. Leone was born in Cranston Rhode Island, daughter of Leon & Dorothy (Riley) Knapp. She resided in Enfield all of her life. Leone was married to her first husband Clarence Remington in 1958 and was predeceased by him on April 26, 1978. Leone worked for over a decade at Rinaldi's Back Room in Longmeadow and was a member of Holy Family Parish. She took great pride in her home, was always active, gardening, ceramics, and cooking. Besides her beloved husband Raymond she is also survived by her mother Dorothy Knapp of Enfield four children: Michael Remington of Enfield, Rhonda Lee Webber and her husband Roy of Stafford, Shawn D. Remington and his wife Elizabeth of Ellington, & Todd J. Remington and his wife Rebecca of Enfield. Four step-children: Raymond Gonyea Jr. of CA. and Darcy Gonyea, Lesa Baudin, & Anthony Gonyea all of Enfield. Eleven grandchildren: Erica & Megan Vaughan, StevieLee Baudin, Timothy, Zachery, Heather, Shawn, Shayne, Alyssa, Morgan, and Christopher Remington, and a great granddaughter Jade Lynn Pacheco. One sister Elizabeth Beverage of Tolland and a brother Gordon Knapp of Louisiana. Leone was predeceased by her father Leon Knapp and a sister Theda Masure of Bellows Falls, VT.<br>Visitations for Leone will be at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels Wednesday 4 -8 with a memorial service at 7:30p.m and Thursday morning prior to her funeral service. Her funeral service will be held Thursday 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Green Lawn Cemetery East Longmeadow, MA.
