Lillian Schulthess Obituary

Lillian Schulthess, 91, of Suffield, CT died March 13 at Johnson Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Fitchburg, MA and had lived in Enfield, CT since 1957. She was employed by the Enfield Board of Education and worked at Enfield High School and Enrico Fermi High School where she was a secretary. She was a member of the Womans Club of Enfield and the Rosary Guild at St. Bernard Church. She was also a member of the Book club at Enfield Public Library. She was a communicant of St. Bernard Church for many years. She enjoyed decorating, playing golf, and entertaining her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband John and son John, III. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Mark and Nannette of Cheshire, CT and their children Meredith, Allyson and Scott; and Stephen and Betsy of Exeter, NH and their children, Kristen, Drew and Lauren as well as seven great grandchildren. There will be a Memorial Mass on Saturday (March 22) at 11:00 am, in St. Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Avenue, Enfield, CT. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St, Springfield, MA 01104 or a charity of your choice.
