Lillian (LaRussa) Ambrosini 92, of Enfield, died Wednesday June 8, 2005 after an extended illness. She was born on September 22, 1912, in Birmingham AL, the fourth of nine children of Antonino and Antonina (Saladino) LaRussa. She was the widow of Edward Joseph Ambrosini, Jr. who passed in 1975.<br>Lillian and her sister Frances owned and operated the Lillian Shop in Windsor Locks and Hazardville for many years. Always cheerful, Lillian's great sense of humor and quick wit will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother her life revolved around loving and caring for her family. <br>Lillian is survived by her devoted children, a daughter, Jean Devine and husband James and a son, Don Ambrosini and wife Denise all of Enfield. She also leaves her grandchildren, Dr. James Devine, 111 and wife Judi of N. Attleboro, MA and Dr. Susan Devine and husband Robert Baillargeon of Somers, CT and her great grandchildren, Stephanie, James, IV and Aidan whom she adored, will miss her greatly. She was predeceased by her sister Frances Scavotto and brothers, Angelo, Joseph, Dominick, Samuel, Thomas, Phillip, and James LaRussa. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Virginia Riggs and the staff at Parkway Pavilion for the excellent care Lillian received during her illness.<br>Funeral services in celebration of Lillian's life will be held Saturday June 11, 2005 at 9 am from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Holy Family Church, Enfield. Interment will take place in St. Patrick's King St. Cemetery, Enfield. Lillian's family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 7 pm on Friday June 10, 2005 at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels.
