Lillian (Zirolli) Barkyoumb, 77, of Enfield, entered into eternal life on Wed. March 21, 2007 at John Dempsey Hospital/UConn Medical Ctr., Farmington. She was the widow of Wellington Barkyoumb (4/19/97). Lillian was born on Oct. 31, 1929 in the Thompsonville section of Enfield a daughter of the late John and Carmella (Guiliana) Zirolli and was a lifelong resident of Enfield. Prior to retiring several years ago she was employed for 25 years with Caldors Department Stores. Lillian's life revolved around her beloved family. In her leisure time she enjoyed gardening and bird-watching, a poet she loved writing poetry, she was a communicant of St. Adalbert's Church and a member of the choir and volunteered many hours with the Enfield Loaves and Fishes. Lillian leaves to cherish fond memories of her loving family; a son, Francis Barkyoumb and his wife, Rhonda Nutile of Killingworth, five daughters, Christine Garris & her husband, James of Westcliff, CO, Sharon Stanton & her husband, Patrick of Fremont, CA, Sallyann Hartman & her husband, Earl of Collinsville, Emily Tomczek of Enfield and Pauline Seavey & her husband, James of Somers, her seven beloved grandchildren; Nathaniel, Dennis, Christina, Brendan, Ethan, Charles and Melanie, a great granddaughter, Kelsey, along with her siblings; a brother, Charles John Zirolli of S. Windsor, and five sisters, Rose Andruss of Agawam, MA, Vincie Reale Stoto of Enfield, Mary Kozak of Feeding Hills, MA, Evelyn Sperrazza of Enfield and Jenny Gogulski of Suffield, also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services for Lillian will be held on Saturday March 24, 2007 at 10am from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Adalbert's Church, Enfield. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Friday March 23, from 4 to 8pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels. Interment will be at her family's convenience in the Thompsonville Cemetery.
