Lillian A. (Humphrey) Pagani, 87, entered into Eternal Life on Thursday September 15, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center, Springfield, MA surrounded by loved ones. Lillian was the beloved wife for 51 years to the late Hugh J. Pagani (Aug, 1992). She was born on September 2, 1918 in Manchester, CT daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (McKeown) Humphrey and resided in Enfield for many years and in Somers with her daughter and son in law, Jane & Michael Driscoll for the past 7 years. She was a graduate of Manchester High School. Prior to her retirement in 1984 Lillian was employed for many years with Hallmark Cards, Enfield. She was a member of the Hallmark Retirees Club, a past member of the Enfield Claddagh Club and a member of St. Patrick's Church where she was also a member of the Altar Society.
Lillian is survived by her loving family a daughter, Lucille Ouellette & her husband Gerald of Enfield, a son Frank Pagani & his wife, Teri of Elllington, a daughter, MaryAnn Pagani of Enfield and a daughter, Jane Driscoll & her husband, Michael of Somers, her eleven beloved grandchildren, Jill Ouellette, Craig Ouellette & his wife, Kristen, Angela LeClerc & her husband, Michael, Frank Pagani, Anthony Pagani, Travis West, Jeremy Lawton, Amy Dickinson, Ryan Brunell, Clayton Bannock & his wife, Toni, and Matthew Bannock & his wife, Jenny and nine great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Hugh she was predeceased by a brother, Patrick Humphrey and a sister, Mary Laraia. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Darren O'Neil for his loving care and attention given to Lillian.
Lillian's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday Sept. 18, 2005 from 2 to 6pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Funeral services in celebration of Lillian's life will be held on Monday Sept. 19, at 9am from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Holy Family Church 23 Simon Rd. Enfield. Interment will take place in St. Patrick's King St. Cemetery, Enfield. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to Network Against Domestic Abuse 139 Hazard Ave. Building #3 Enfield, CT 06082 or to Home & Community Health Services Hospice Program P.O. Box 1199 Enfield, CT 06083-1199.
