Lillian (Sarno) Tallarita, 87 of Enfield, the beloved wife of Vito Tallarita who predeceased her in 1984, entered into the eternal peace of God's infinite mercy on Monday Nov. 20, 2006 surrounded by her loving family. Lillian was born on June 24, 1919 in the Thompsonville section of Enfield a daughter of the late Cardillo and Maria (Castella) Sarno and was a lifelong resident of Enfield. Lillian was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was very devoted to her family, she enjoyed babysitting and loved time spent with the grandchildren and great grandchildren who brought her joy, love and happiness, she loved when the family was all together for gatherings and holidays, her life revolved around loved ones who will miss her dearly. She was a devout catholic and lifelong member & communicant of St. Patrick's Church. She leaves behind to cherish fond memories her loving family, a son; Louis Tallarita & his wife Carol of Enfield, a son; Vito Tallarita & his wife, Sharon of Warwick, RI, a son Carl & his wife, Donna of Enfield and a daughter; Bernie Tallarita of Enfield, her nine beloved grandchildren; Andy, Liza, Sarah, Brian, Nicole, Eric, Adam, Evan and Amanda, two great grandchildren; Adrianna and Alyssa. She also is survived by her brother and sisters; Frank Sarno of Enfield, Caroline Peraro of Enfield, Margaret Mangerian of Enfield, Louise Romano of Suffield, Jennie DeMaio of Enfield and Ida Angelica of Enfield and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters; Emilia Carlone and Concetta Sarno, also a brother; Bruno Sarno.
Lillian's family would especially like to thank the staff at Kimberly Hall South and Dr. Toce for the loving care and attention given to her. Funeral services in celebration of Lillian's life will be held on Saturday Nov. 25, 2006 at 11:00am from BROWNE MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPELS 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 (noon) in St. Patrick's Church, Thompsonville section of Enfield. Interment will take place in St. Patrick's King St. Cemetery, Enfield. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Friday 4 to 8pm at BROWNE FUENRAL CHAPELS.
