Lorraine Beaupre

Lorraine R. (Labonte) Beaupre, died peacefully on Monday (July 14, 2014), at Kimberly Hall in Windsor, CT. Lorraine was born on Sept. 26, 1924 in Springfield, MA, the daughter of the late Arthur A. and Irene (Jarvis) Labonte. Lorraine was predeceased by her husband Norman Beaupre, Sr. Prior to his passing Norman & Lorraine owned and operated Beaupre Family Campground in Pomfret, CT for many years. Lorraine is survived by four sons, Norman Beaupre, Jr. & his wife Jahala of Woodstock, Clifford Beaupre & his wife Nancy of Enfield, Allen Beaupre & his wife Pia of Middletown, Arthur Beaupre of Kentucky, two daughters, Gail Cooper & her husband Ben of Kentucky and Barbara Gibson of Pomfret, her grandchildren, Lorraine Beaupre McCready, Tracy D. Mouton, Danielle Beaupre- Boncek, Beau Beaupre, Chad and Jennifer Cooper, Sandra and Jenna Gibson, Jeremy and Cory Beaupre, Yvonne Beaupre Hart, and Brian Beaupre and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, William Labonte & his wife Camellia of New Britain, her two sisters, May Potts of Manchester and Rita Arcari of Texas, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Velma Scotto and a brother, Arthur Labonte, Jr. Lorraine’s family wishes to express their gratitude to her private nurse Meredith for her friendship and compassion, the Kimberly Hall staff for their special care, Donna her physical therapist, Lorraine Carter her social worker, Masonicare for Hospice and Eric & the staff of Vernon Dialysis. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association 2080 Silas Deane Highway 2nd floor, Rocky Hill, CT 06067 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908. Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours on Friday (July 18, 2014) from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. The funeral service will be held on Saturday (July 19, 2014) at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield, CT.
