Louise A. Montminy, 61, of Windsor Locks, beloved companion of ten years to Dave McCue, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in LaDurantaye, Canada, Louise was the daughter of the late Philippe and Gabrielle (Asselin) Montminy. She is survived by her son, Marc G. Veilleux and his wife, Wendy of Enfield and her daughter, Ginette M. Veilleux of South Hadley, MA; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Lindsay, Noah, Sophie, Holly, Madison and Peter; her brothers and sisters, Michael Montminy and his wife, Annette of Canada, Rachel Nadeau and her husband, Lionel of Canada, Etienne Montminy and his wife, Michele of Chicopee, Laurent Montminy and his wife, Madeleine of Canada, and Nicole Montminy and her companion, Stan Grachmal of Westfield. Family and friends will gather on Friday, June, 29, 2012 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. A private burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
