Louise V. (Taylor) Schollard, 76, of Enfield, passed from this life into the arms of the Lord surrounded by loved ones at her home in Enfield on Easter Sunday (4/8/2007). Louise was the beloved wife of 53 years to Richard J. Schollard. She was born on Nov. 1, 1930 in West New York, NJ, a daughter of the late George and Adelaide (Weller) Taylor. She was a graduate of Red Bank High School in NJ. Louise had resided in Enfield for the past 53 years, prior to that she resided in Red Bank, NJ for 15 years and in Eufala, AL for 8 years. Before retiring in 1992, Louise was employed for 15 years with Northeast Utilities and prior to that with CT General Insurance, Co. In her leisure time she enjoyed outdoor activities, hiking, canoeing, camping and family related travel. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Church where she was a member of the Women's Guild and a former lector. Louise leaves, to cherish fond memories, her loving family; her husband, Richard, a daughter, Joan E. Schollard of Enfield, a son, Richard Schollard & his wife, Liz of Orange Park, FL, a daughter, Janice Stock of Tropic, UT, a daughter, Jill Kronstedt & her husband, Peter of Jupiter, FL, a daughter, Cynthia Whiting & her husband, Dan of Portsmouth, VA, a daughter, Lynn Beaudoin & her husband, Stephen of Sturbridge, MA, her eleven beloved grandchildren and one great-grandchild, along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a sister, Adelaide Hyde.
Funeral services in celebration of Louise's life will be held on Wednesday April 11, 2007 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30pm in Holy Family Church, Enfield. Her family will receive relatives and friends Wed. morning prior to the Mass from 10:30am to 12:00pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Interment will be at her family's convenience.
