Louise St. Germain

Louise St. Germain, 84, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 8, 2011, at Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT. Born December 9, 1927 in Lynn, MA, she was the widow of Donald E. St. Germain and daughter of the late Seldom D. and Catherine (Delaney) Bartlett. She resided in Enfield for over 36 years and was a member of St. Martha’s Church, Enfield. A loving mother and grandmother, Louise is survived by her daughter, Marie St. Germain and her husband Arthur Sherman and her grandchildren Adam Sherman and Bridget Sherman all of Maynard, MA. She also leaves her sister, Margaret Habel of Springfield, MA and dear friend and companion Lucian Albano of Enfield. Louise was predeceased by her sisters, Catherine Hurley and Olive Sicbaldi. Family and friends may gather at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd., Enfield on Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at 9:00 a.m. for a procession to St. Martha Church, where a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Louise’s life will be held followed by burial in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield. Louise’s family will receive relatives and friends at Browne Memorial Chapels Tuesday, January 11, 2011 during calling hours from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Memorial Donations in Louise’s memory may be made to Enfield Dial-A –Ride C/O Annette Reed 299 Elm Street Enfield, CT 06082.
