Lucy M. Gaudet, 94, of Enfield, died peacefully on Friday, August 8, 2014 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in the Thompsonville section of Enfield on November 4, 1919, Lucy was the daughter of the late Timothy and Lucy (Landry) Gaudet. She was a graduate of Enfield High School. Lucy was a faithful communicant of St. Patrick Church and was employed by Connecticut Light and Power for over forty years and retired in 1991. Lucy is survived by her nieces, Joyce Noll, Joan Pare’, Susan Neville all of Enfield, Gay Corn of TN, Judy of AZ and her nephew, Gary Gaudet of CA, many grandnieces and grandnephews; and her special friends; Rose Manzone, Irene Ganner and Peg Linn. She was predeceased by two brothers, Francis and Ernest; and her sisters, Rene Charette and Theresa Berube. Lucy’s family would like to thank Dr. Darren O’Neill for the caring compassion and special attention given to Lucy. Family and friends may attend the Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Lucy’s life on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, followed by interment in St. Patrick King Street Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
