Malvina Greski

Malvina K. (Pochron) Greski, of Suffield, passed from this life into the loving arms of Christ on Sunday May 10, 2015 at the age of 96, the widow of Leon Greski (1990). Malvina was born on September 17, 1918 in Thompsonville, CT, daughter of the late Albert and Julia (Pluta) Pochron. As a young child she and her family moved to Suffield where she raised her family and spent the remainder of her life. She was a communicant of St. Adalbert Church in Enfield. Malvina was the loving Mother of two daughters: Dorothy and her husband Larry Quinn of Suffield, Barbara Greski of Suffield, with whom she made her home, and her son Leon “Jay” and his wife Grace of Enfield. “Non” leaves her grandchildren; L.D. Quinn and his wife Wendy of Oklahoma, City, Dan Quinn and his wife Julie of Virginia Debra Quinn and her friend Mike of Windsor Locks and Leonard and Jason Greski and their wives Barbara and Rebecca of New York. “Non” also leaves nine great-grandchildren; Caitlin and Megan Quinn; Eric, Emily and Alex Bursztyn, Jesse, Elias, Jacob and Noah Greski. She was predeceased by two sisters; Mary Phillips and Florence Skipper and a brother Joseph Pochron. “Non” will be sadly missed by her loving family. She truly was “The wind beneath our wings”. Funeral service for Malvina will be private. Burial will be in St. Adalbert’s Cemetery.
