Margaret “Jane” (Williams) Martin, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Friday March 11, 2016. She was the beloved wife of 64 years to the late William Martin. Margaret was born on January 17, 1926 in Buffalo, NY to the late Ebenezer and Helen (Campbell) Williams. Margaret was a graduate of Pittston H.S., Pittston, PA. She had resided in Enfield for many years and in Winter Haven, FL for 20 years. Margaret retired from Aetna Life & Casualty Insurance Co. after 35 years of service. She is survived by a son William Martin, Jr of Florida and a daughter Linda DeGray of Enfield, CT, two beloved grandsons Nick DeGray and Andrew Martin, a brother John Williams of PA, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by a son-in-law John DeGray. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday March 18, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Connecticut State Veteran’s Cemetery 317 Bow Ln. Middletown, CT. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer CT Chapter, 200 Executive Blvd. Ste. 4b, Southington, CT 06489. Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. is assisting her family with arrangements.
