Margaret (Lefemine) Lepore, 93, of Enfield, died peacefully, Wednesday (February 9, 2011) at home with her daughters by her side. Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Leo J. Lepore and daughter of the late Ralph and Aurora (Milazzo) Lefemine. She was born on April 28, 1917 in Windsor Locks, CT and had been an Enfield resident for the past 75 years where she was a member of St. Patrick Church. Margaret enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking, reading, gardening and spending time with her family. Before retiring many years ago Margaret had worked at W.T. Grants, Hallmark Cards and Hamilton Standard. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. Margaret is survived by her children, Ann Shirley (Lepore) Wojtas and husband Joseph and Laura Jean (Lepore) O’Brien and husband William all of Enfield, her beloved grandchildren; Joseph Wojtas and wife Elissa of Stonington, CT, Jill Chaban of Belchertown, MA, Todd O’Brien and wife Barbara of Enfield, Travis O’Brien and wife Betsy of E. Windsor, great grandchildren; Brandon, Tyler and Brianna O’Brien, Max and Summer Wojtas, Cameron and Brady Chaban. She also leaves her sister Anna Barry of South Carolina and many nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by two brothers Anthony and Raymond Lefemine, a sister Mary Spinelli, also her sisters-in-law, Sylvia Lefemine and Mary Lefemine and brothers-in-law, Dominick Lepore and James Lepore. Margaret’s family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the VNA nurses. Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours on Sunday (February 13, 2011) from 2 to 5 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, CT. Funeral services will be held on Monday (February 14, 2011) with the funeral procession forming at 10 a.m. to St. Patrick’s Church, Enfield for a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will take place in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery, Enfield.
