Marie (Fountain) Keller Obituary

Marie T. (Fountain) Keller, of Suffield, entered into eternal life peacefully at the age of 81 on Thursday (March 3, 2011) at Bickford Healthcare in Windsor Locks. Marie was born on April 10, 1929 in Holyoke, MA the daughter of the late Harold and Rose (Lukacik) Fountain. She had resided in Enfield most of her life and several years in Suffield. Marie was a graduate of Cathedral High School, Springfield, MA. Prior to retiring in 1991 Marie was employed with CVS Pharmacy in Enfield. She was a member of Cathedral H.S. Alumni, OLC Retreat League and St. Patrick Church, Enfield. In her leisure time she enjoyed doing crafts, gardening and had a love for animals, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. A kind, caring and loving person she touched the hearts of all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Marie was the loving mother of Rosemary Osowiecki and her husband Peter of Enfield, Patricia Travali of Suffield, Mary Keene of Jacksonville, FL, Paul Keller of Enfield and Therese Daley of Virginia Beach, VA, the beloved grandmother to David Scalia, Kimberly McFarland, Kristen Stam and her husband Ethan, Michelle Berube, Jason and John, Jr. D’Angelo, Jennifer Wheeler and her husband Tim and Rose Keene, great grandmother to SteviLyn & Allison Justice, Nicolas Montemerlo, Thomas & Addison Wheeler and Raegan Stam. Marie also leaves behind many cousins. She was predeceased by a brother Edward “Sonny” Fountain. Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours on Sunday (March 6, 2011) from 2 to 5 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Funeral Services will be held on Monday (March 7, 2011) with the funeral procession forming at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home to St. Patrick’s Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial Interment will be at the convenience of her family in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery in Enfield.
