Marie Minichiello

Marie B. Minichiello beloved wife and mother passed away peacefully on November 25, 2011. She was born May 11, 1922 and was a lifelong resident of Enfield CT before moving to Jacksonville, Fl in 2003. She leaves behind her loving daughters and their spouses, Kathleen and Robert Turgeon of CT, Francine and Michael Tocchetti od DE, Nancy and Robert Greenstreet and Elaine and Robert Hoffman both of FL. Ten grandchildren, Peter Corsini, Daniel Corsini, Bethany Mauri, Audrey Galliard, Alison Bergeron, Michael Tocchetti, Robert Coderre, Amy Mixon, Jesse Hoffman and Frank Hoffman, Ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years Frank Minichello, her parents Louis and Helena Gosselin, her sisters Constance Faulkner and Janet Burke and her brother Michael Chaplin, who she missed very much. Marie loved to cook, garden, do needle work and dance, she also loved a good wager, glass of Port, and a nice cup of tea but most of all she loved her family. Friends and relatives are invited to gather with her family on Thursday, December 1st, 2011 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield, CT followed by a procession to Holy Family Church 23 Simon Rd. Enfield for a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Marie’s life. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery, Enfield. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, 103 Old Iron Ore Rd., Bloomfield, CT. www.fidelco.org.
