Mariette D. (Dussault) Freeman, 85, of Suffield and formerly of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Thursday (May 21, 2015) at The Suffield House. She was born on June 5, 1929 in Lewiston, Maine, the daughter of the late Arthur Camille (Verville) Dussault, She was a graduate of Edward Little H.S. Auburn, ME and had resided in Enfield for many years and in Phippsburg, ME before that. Prior to her retirement Mariette was employed with the University of Hartford for many years. Mariette is survived by her two daughters; Diane M. Freeman of Dover, NH and Jennifer “Jeni” (Freeman) Skukowski of Enfield, her four grandchildren; Blake Whitmire, Ryan Skukowski, Evan Skukowski and Michael Skukowski, her cousins; Henrietta Leblond and Bert Porier both of Auburn, ME. She was predeceased by two grandchildren; Liana Whitmire (5/12/1985) and Chase Whitmire (5/2012). Funeral services for Mariette will be private at the convenience of her family.
