Marilyn R. (Bush) Golden, 83, of Dayville, CT entered into eternal rest on Sunday Nov. 5, 2017 at Day Kimball Hospital, Putnam, CT. Marilyn was born on Apr. 26, 1934 in Enfield, CT to the late Raymond and Eleanor (Quick) Bush and resided in Dayville for the past 38 years. She was a graduate of Enfield H.S. Enfield, CT. Marilyn was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who dedicated her life to caring for her family and home. She enjoyed cooking and shopping, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. Marilyn is survived by her companion of 27 years, Gerald Hopkins, her children, Roger Golden & wife Carol of Chaplin, CT, Raymond Golden & wife Meridith of Colorado Springs, CO, Cheryl Dumas & husband Ron of Dayville, CT, Kathleen Melanson of Lakeland, FL, Gary Golden of Munson, ME, Scott Golden & wife Lisa of Danielson, CT, her 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Donald Golden, two grandchildren Roger Golden and Jamie Melanson, and a sister Florence Fredette.
