Mark S. Cashman of Stafford Springs died peacefully on Sunday January
17, 2016 at Hartford Hospital, surrounded by his family and friends.
Mark was born on April 7, 1958 to Frank Cashman and Lillian (Bednark)
Cashman of East Hartford, CT. He lived in Windsor, CT for nearly 30
years and worked as an Enterprise Architect for The Harftford. He spent
years enjoying the risk and reward of rock climbing with his close
friend Michael Schreck. He also has published four science fiction novels.
Mark made his home running Stony Hill Ranch with his high school
sweetheart and wife of 38 years, Susan A. (Pineau) Cashman. He had a
deep love and compassion for the horses and animals that he shared his
life with. His life was full of horseback riding, training, and instruction.
He was loved by his daughter and son-in-law, Ara and Paul Wilnas of
North Windham, his grandchildren, Rinn Wilnas and Jack Spellman, and his
sister and brother-in-law Lori and Scott Walker of Middletown.
