Mary Alice Langley

Mary Alice (Lajoie) Langley, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest at the age of 79, on Sunday (Dec. 2, 2012) at Parkway Pavilion Healthcare. Alice was the beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Langley (July, 2001) and daughter of the late Alfred and Emma (Breau) Lajoie. She was born on March 19, 1933 in Grand Falls, Canada and had resided in Enfield for over 45 years. Alice was a member of Holy Family Church, and was very active through the years with the former Enfield ARC, now Allied Community Services, for many years she ran activities for the ARC, dances, parties, social outings and assisted with the Special Olympics program. A dedicated mother, she devoted her life to caring for her family especially her daughter Rae Ann, and was a loving grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Alice is survived by her three daughters; Linda Connor, Diane Laporte and Rae Ann Langley, her six beloved grandchildren, a sister; Mae Champaine, two brothers; Amos and Edmond Lajoie, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services were private with burial in the Hazardville Cemetery. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Felician Sister’s Adult Day Care 1333 Enfield Street, Enfield, CT 06082.
