Mary (Rinaldi) Falzone,103 of Enfield, entered into eternal life on Wednesday (October 3, 2012) at St. Joseph’s Residence in Enfield. She was born Sept. 3, 1909 in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, daughter of the late Louis and Rosina (Allegro) Rinaldi and had resided in Enfield most of her life as a young girl she had resided in Naro Italy for 8 years before returning back to Thompsonville in 1923. Prior to retiring many years ago Mary had been employed by the former Bigelow Sanford Carpet Co., Thompsonville. She was a former member of the VFW Womens Aux., a member of the Rinaldi-Fede Post #17 Aux., AARP Chapter 1209, and parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church. Mary volunteered many hours at Parkway Pavilion Healthcare over the years, her life revolved around her loving family and dear friends. She is survived by her loving and caring daughter-in-law, Ruth Falzone of PA, her two loved and cherished grandchildren, Joseph Peter Falzone & wife, Barbara, and Caroline (Falzone) Sabatini, four beloved great-grandchildren, Nicholas & Christopher Sabatini, and John Thomas & Joseph Anthony Falzone, a sister, Colagera Ala in Italy, several devoted nieces & nephews who helped a lot when she needed them, many cousins, all her beautiful friends, especially Mary Porcello & Charlie Ragno. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph and her loving son, John Falzone whom she missed dearly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday (October 12, 2012) at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Chapel at St. Joseph’s Residence/Little Sister of the Poor 1365 Enfield Street, Enfield. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at St. Joseph’s Residence on Thursday (October 11, 2012) from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery, Enfield. In appreciation for the wonderful care and attention given to her while at St. Joseph’s Residence she had requested memorial donations be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor 1365 Enfield Street Enfield, CT 06082.
