Mary Lee
Mary L. (Davin) Lee, 83, of Enfield, entered into eternal life, Thursday, June 11, 2009. Mary was born in Springfield, MA on November 1, 1925 she was daughter of the late James E. and Mary (Begley) Davin and was an Enfield resident for 47 years. Prior to her retirement, Mary was employed with Travelers Insurance of Hartford and Avon Products. She was devoted member of St. Martha's Church for many years. In her leisure time she enjoyed reading, knitting and jigsaw puzzles, she was an avid UCONN Huskies Women Basketball fan. A loving mother and grandmother, Mary is survived by her children; James Lee and wife, Peggy of Cromwell, CT, Sheila Lee and spouse Kay Kinne of Maple Valley, WA, Dennis Lee and wife, Mary of Beech Bluff, TN and Annmarie Wilson and husband, Bob of Haymarket, VA., 9 grandchildren; Jacqueline Lee, Jason Lee, Tammy Betenbaugh, Emily Wilson, Robert Wilson, Sidney Mayo and Jessica LaPointe, Patrick Leonard and Shannon Leonard. She also leaves her siblings; Jean Winther of Mystic, Frances Davin of E. Hartford, Robert Davin of S. Windsor and James Davin of Easthampton, MA along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral procession will form 9 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2009 from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd., Enfield to St. Martha's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will take place in the Hazardville Cemetery.
