Maureen L. (Myers) Wilczak, 64, beloved wife of Arthur P. Wilczak, entered into eternal rest Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA. Maureen, the daughter of Arlene (Babcock) Myers and the late Harry R. Myers was born April 4, 1950 in Springfield, MA and had lived in Enfield, CT before moving to Feeding Hills. She was a graduate of both Agawam High School and Holyoke Community College. Her career as an accountant spanned 20 years. Prior to her retirement she had been employed with Combustion Engineering and then the Enfield Square. Maureen was an avid Boston Red Sox and Patriots fan. A woman of many talents and interests she enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting ,wine making and gardening. Maureen loved cats and leaves behind her beloved cat, Tiger. Besides her husband Arthur, she is survived by her family: stepsons, Jason Wilczak and wife Rachelle of East Windsor and Nicholas Wilczak of Windsor Locks; 4 grandchildren, Broderick, Greenleigh, Selena and Athena and her mother-in-law, Sophie Wilczak of Suffield. Maureen is also survived by her sister Deborah Fogarty and husband Steven of Somers, brother-in-law Michael Wilczak of Enfield and sister-in-law Marianne Tittarelli and husband Gaetano of Suffield. Family and friends will gather at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd., Enfield for a procession to St. Adalbert Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at Springfield Street Cemetery, Feeding Hills, MA. Calling hours will be held at Browne Chapels Tuesday, May 6 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to your local animal rescue fund.
