Muriel C. Boucher, 86, of Enfield entered into eternal life on Monday (August 4, 2008) at Evergreen Healthcare, Stafford Springs. Muriel was the widow of the late Albert R. Boucher (March, 1984). She was born on July 20, 1922 in St. Armand, Canada daughter of the late Wilfred & Maria (Fortin) Boucher and had resided in Enfield most of her life. Muriel started her working career for with Bigelow Sanford Carpet Co. Thompsonville and later was a self employed housekeeper. She was a longtime member of St. Patrick's Church and was an avid bingo player. Muriel is survived by her loving family, a daughter, Lana Gerber of Vernon & fiancé, Bob Tronsky, a son, Ross J. Boucher & wife, Barbara, a son, Mark A. Boucher and his companion, June all of Enfield, her seven beloved grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, her sister, Vitaline Giroux of Canada along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Claire Colturi, a son, Robert A. Boucher and her four brothers and three sisters. Funeral services in celebration of Muriel's life will be held on Thursday August 7, 2008 with a procession forming at 9 a.m. from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield to St. Patrick's Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Patrick's King St. Cemetery, Enfield. Muriel's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday Aug. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels. Memorial Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society 538 Preston Ave. P.O. Box 1004 Meriden, CT 06450-1004.
