Norman D. DeWitt, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday (February 9, 2014) at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Ctr., Hartford. Norman was the beloved husband of 45 years to the late Patricia M. (Hansen) DeWitt. He was born on Nov. 20, 1945 in Lebanon, NH son of the late Norman D. and Velma (Yvon) DeWitt, and had resided in Enfield for over 35 years. Norman had been employed for several years with Monsanto Company, Springfield, MA. He enjoyed computer programming and teaching computer classes, electrical engineering, Sci-fi and martial arts movies and spending time watching movies with his grandkids. He is survived by his children; Howard DeWitt, Jackie Neault & husband Paul, and Jason DeWitt & wife Pamela all of Enfield, his cherished and adored grandchildren; Kathryn DeWitt, Faith Neault, Kyle DeWitt, Ethan DeWitt, Zachary DeWitt, Nathan Madsen and Sarah Madsen. He is also survived by a sister Linda Pierce of Chicopee, MA, along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of his family.
