Normand Dupuis

Normand J. Dupuis, 78, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest, on Saturday Dec. 3, 2016. He was the beloved husband of 27 years to Evelyn “Sam” (Eidman) Dupuis. Normand was born on Dec. 26, 1937 in Augusta, ME to the late Rene L and Rose A. (Pender) Dupuis. He had resided in Enfield for the past 51 years and in Hartford before that and had attended St. Ann’s Parochial School, Hartford, CT. Prior to retiring Normand was employed for 37 years with Capitol Pipe, Newington, CT. He enjoyed his coffee & donut every morning at the coffee shop, was always puttering around his yard, loved to ride his Harley in his younger days, and was an avid UCONN Huskies Women’s Basketball fan. Besides his wife, Sam Normand is survived by his two sons; Normand Dupuis, II & wife Evelyn of Broad Brook, Daniel Dupuis & fiancée Joyce Hrycay of Windsor Locks, and step-daughter; Kimberly A. Dunbar of Suffield, grandson; Brandon Dupuis and great-grandson; Maximus Dupuis. He is also survived by his siblings; Lorraine & Joseph St. John of East Hartford, CT, Donald Dupuis of Brush Prairie, WA, Raymond & Patricia Dupuis of Bristol, CT and sister-in-law; Joan Dupuis of Enfield, CT, along with many nieces and nephews. Service are private with burial at the convenience of the family.
