Pablo Diaz Santana, 82, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest, on Friday January 20, 2006 at Kettlebrook Healthcare. He was the beloved husband of 60 years to<br>Maria Diaz-Santana. He was born on January 25, 1923 in Comerio, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Juan Diaz Ortiz and TRoadia Santana Cosme. Pablo resided in<br>Enfield for 39 years. He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran of W.W.II and Korea. Pablo was employed by Kaman Aircraft of Bloomfield for 17 years retiring in 1995. He was an avid fisherman, loved his garden and was a member of St. Martha's<br>Church, Enfield. Besides his wife, Maria, Pablo is survived by six sons, Pablo, Diaz, Jr. of E. Hartford, Norberto Diaz, U.S.Army, Arnaldo Diaz of Florida, Jorge Diaz of Springfield, MA, Peter Diaz of Germany and Juan Diaz (Deceased 1957), five daughters Mary Santana of Florida, Iris Rivera of Puerto Rico, Olga Ellis of Springfield, MA, Irma Bonaczyck of East Windsor; and Gloria Diaz of Enfield; 23 grandchildren, Melinda, Alex, Paul, Norman, Francisco Jr., Luis, Carlos, Lucy, Brian, Maria, Jennifer, Mathew, Joshua, Sara, Sean, Ryan, Paul, Ashley,<br>Kathryn, Brittany, Thomas, Melissa, and Christian, 10 great grandchildren, Josue, Noemi, Chelsea, Joseph, Andrew Paul, Gabriella, Christina, Gabriella, Nariah and Alexander. He also leaves 4 brothers: Antonio, Ramon, Hipolito, and Victor all of Florida, two sisters, Maria and Carmen both of Florida. Funeral services for Pablo will be held on Wednesday January 25, 2006 at 9:00am from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd., Enfield, (Exit 48 off 1-91, East on Rt. 220 for 1-1/4 miles), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Martha's Church 214 Brainard Rd., Enfield. Pablo's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday Jan. 24 from 5 to 9pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels.
