Pamela Leach

Pamela (Browne) Leach, 64 of Stafford Springs entered into eternal life at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford on Monday August 21, 2006 .Pamela was born September 16, 1941 in Stafford Springs, the daughter of the late Richard Yarrington Browne and Elise (MacIntyre) Browne. Pamela grew up in the former Browne Funeral Home in Stafford Springs, which is now the Introvigne Funeral Home. Pam graduated from Stafford High School in 1959 and married Robert Leslie Leach Jr. of Crystal Lake. She was a homemaker and raised three children in their home on Monson Road. Pam went to work in the early 1970's and was employed by the Stafford Town Hall Warren of Stafford and later by the University of Connecticut in the Administration Department. She retired in 2003. Pam enjoyed her grandchildren and researching her family tree, and solving word puzzles. Pam is survived by a daughter Brenda Anne Craig and husband Mark of Islesboro, Maine, and a son Robert L. Leach III and wife Dorothy of Broad Brook. She is also survived by her grandchildren Alexandra Anne Craig of Islesboro ME, Robert L. Leach IV, Diana Jade Leach of Broad Brook, and Gregory St. John of Waterford CT. Pam also leaves, her nephews Richard and Robert Browne and niece Kimberly and nephews Scott, Dean and Todd Browne. She was predeceased by her brother Richard Yarrington Browne Jr.; also by a daughter Diana Marie Leach, and her grandson Christopher DuPerry. Pam's services will be held in the home she grew up in relatives and friends may gather at the Introvigne Funeral Home 51 East Main St. Stafford Springs CT on Thursday Aug. 24, 2006 from 5:00PM to 8:00Pm a Memorial Service will be held at 8:00PM Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday Aug. 26, 2006 at 10:00AM in St. Edwards Cemetery Stafford. Pam's family would like to thank Joseph Introvigne and family for their genuine concern and accommodations. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. The J. Francis Browne family Browne Memorial Chapels of Enfield is in care of arrangements.
