Pastor Pass Obituary
Pastor Eugene F. Pass, of Springfield, MA completed his earthly journey at the age of 77 and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday September 23, 2009 after a long illness at Baystate Medical Center. Springfield, MA. Eugene was the beloved husband of Jean B. (Bosworth) Pass. He was born on August 5, 1932 in Lenoir City, TN a son of the late Floyd and Dora (Huffman) Pass and had resided in Springfield for the past 55 years. Eugene served his country proudly with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Pastor Pass loved the Lord Jesus and preached his Word for the past 18 years with The Church of Redemption, Agawam, MA. In his leisure time he loved to go to the country to meditate, enjoyed vacations with his family on Cape Cod and was an avid TN Vols., NY Giants and Boston Red Sox fan.
Besides his beloved wife, Jean of 54 years he was the loving father of William Pass and his wife, Tracey of Agawam, MA, Susan Carroll and her husband, Norman of Springfield, MA, Robert Pass and his wife, Nancy of Enfield, CT and Cindy Mueller and her husband, Paul of Springfield, MA, beloved grandfather of Christopher Pass, Normi and Andrew Carroll, Laruen Pass, Joe, Jeffrey, Jonathan and Jacob Mueller, brother of Harold Pass and his wife, Lois of Lenoir, TN and Joe Paul Pass of Baltimore, MD and uncle to Lori Gregory, Lisa Pass and Lana Payne and is also survived by many cousins. Along with his parents he was predeceased by his grandson Bobby Pass in Dec. 2008.
Funeral services in celebration of Pastor Eugene Pass's life will be held on Monday September 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Chris Pyrek officiating from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd, Enfield followed by interment with military honors in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery Agawam, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to gather with his family during calling hours on Sunday September 27, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels. Memorial donations in his memory may be made to The Church of Redemption P.O. Box 265 Agawam. MA 01001.
