Paul Canello

Paul J. Canello, of Enfield, passed away at the age of 72 on Sunday (May 13, 2012) in Enfield. Paul was the beloved husband of 33 years to the late Claire Ann (Mahler) Canello (2002). He was born on Feb. 26, 1940 in Hartford, CT son of the late Anthony N. and Mildred (Novelino) Canello and had resided in Enfield for many years where he was a self-employed general contractor in the local area. He is survived by his three loving children; Kathryn Benzi of Bristol, CT, Anthony Canello of Ellington and Theresa Maselli of Burlington, CT, his four beloved grandchildren and his cat, “Jaeger”. He is also survived by two brothers; Richard Canello of Newington and Joseph Canello of East Hartford and a sister Mary Jane Robertson of Vernon along with several nieces and nephews. At Paul’s request, there will be no formal funeral services. His family is planning a Memorial/Remembrance party to be held in mid-summer. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Mt. Saint Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Donations in his memory may be made to his favorite animal sanctuary: The Last Post, 95 Belden Street, Falls Village, CT 06031. Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield is assisting his family with arrangements.
