Paul Pelletier

Paul E. Pelletier, 78, of Enfield, entered into eternal peace, Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford, CT. Paul, the son of the late Maxime and Helene (Ayotte) Pelletier, was born in Fort Kent, ME February 2, 1931 and resided in Enfield for 51 years. Prior to his retirement in 1994, Paul was employed with the former Wicks Lumber and then Sonoco Drum Manufacturing, both located in Windsor Locks, CT. A "Jack of All Trades", Paul lent a helping hand to everyone in the neighborhood. He enjoyed time spent on his boat on Congamond Lake in Southwick, MA and was a member of the Enfield Elks. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Joan (Welter) Pelletier, his children; Gary Pelletier and wife Deb of Enfield, CT, Diane Flathers and husband Keith of Feeding Hills, MA, Glenn Pelletier and wife Eileen of S. Windsor, CT, his grandchildren; Megan and fiancée Dan, Jessica, Briana, Alyson, Brian and Robert and his sister and brothers, Jeanne Bois of Windsor, CT , Phil Pelletier of Plainville, CT and Dana Pelletier of Standish, ME and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Louise P. Bois, Vitale Pelletier and Julie Pelletier. A Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Paul's life will be held Friday, August 7, 2009, at 11: A.M. in St. Martha Church, Enfield. Paul's family will receive family and friends from 9 to 10:30 A.M. prior to Mass at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049 Syracuse, NY 13220-3049.
