Pauline Cyr

Pauline M. (Lavoie) Cyr, of Enfield, entered into eternal life, at the age of 86, on Tuesday (March 26, 2013) at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Ctr. She was the beloved wife of 56 years to the late Armand L. Cyr. Pauline was born on Aug. 13, 1926 in Adamsville, N.B., Canada one of sixteen children to the Charles E. Sr. and M. Anna (Beaulieu) Lavoie. Pauline was employed for over 20 years as a Matron in the Somerville and Enfield School (JFK) systems. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, playing cards, arts & crafts and gardening. A devout catholic and parishioner of St. Martha Church she was involved with many committees, events and activities with the church and was also a member of the former Shaker Pines Women’s Aux. Pauline is survived by her beloved son; Michael Cyr & wife Joyce of Enfield, her loving daughter; Joyce Wilks & husband William of Southampton, MA, her beloved grandchildren; Jason Cyr, Jennifer Cyr, Jessica Wilks and Shannon Wilks, two great-grandchildren; Charlee & Vance. She is also survived by her sister; Annette Deragon of Canada, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins, also three sisters-in-laws; Beatrice Lavoie, of Enfield, Marguerite Lavoie and Eleanor Lavoie both of MA, her dear friend Noella Gatten and cat, “Bebit”. She was predeceased by her siblings; Maria Bousquet, Albertine Brouillard, Germaine Desruisseaux, Honore Lavoie, Dominique Lovoie, Eugenia Garrow, Benoit Lavoie, Gertrude Lavoie, Arthur Lavoie, Charles Lavoie, Jr., Rita Cyr, Jeanne D’Arc Gagner, Laurence Barkyoumb and Catherine Lavoie. A Memorial Mass in celebration of Pauline’s life will be held on Saturday (April 20, 2013) at 11:00 a.m. in St. Martha Church 214 Brainard Rd. Enfield. Interment was held at the convenience of her family in the Memorial Garden of St. Francis of Assisi, Church, Grove City, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield was entrusted with Pauline’s arrangements.
