Raymond “Ray” J. Gagne, Jr. 65, of Suffield, beloved husband of Anne Baril-Gagne, entered in to eternal rest on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. He was born on May 5, 1950 in Hartford, CT the son of the late Raymond J, Sr. and Vera (Polzun) Gagne. Ray had resided in Suffield for the past 15 years and in Enfield prior to that. Raymond was employed with Pioneer Cold of Chicopee, MA as a forklift operator. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following NASCAR (Jeff Gordon), along with the Yankees, Giants and the Celtics. Raymond loved trips to Lake Winnipesaukee to spend time with Anne, spoiling his nieces and nephews and spending time with his granddaughter Brooke and his grand dog, Torstein. Besides his wife of 24 years, Anne, Raymond is also survived by his children; Reina Gagne of Florida and Brian Baril and his wife Kristi of Suffield, his granddaughter Brooke Baril, his siblings; Linda Ortega, Mark Gagne, Bruce Gagne, Ernest Gagne, Edward Gagne, all of Hartford and Laverne PeCord of Florida, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may gather with his family during calling hours on Saturday Feb. 6, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service with Cruger Phillips officiating at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
