Robert Biron

Robert A. Biron, 31, of Enfield, CT died following a long courageous battle with Stage 4 lymphoma on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Bickford Health Care Center, Windsor Locks, CT. Robert was the son of Donald Biron and the late Theresa (Gassner) Biron. He was a graduate of Fermi High School in Enfield and studied automotive at Porter and Chester. Prior to his illness he was employed by Friendly’s Restaurant and Ruby Tuesdays. Robert played the guitar and was an avid lover of music, enjoyed bowling, crafting jewelry and always had a joke to share. His quote “I laid down that boogie and played that funky music till I died”. In addition to his father Donald Biron of Enfield, CT, he is survived by a sister Katherine Biron of West Suffield, CT; Grandparents Robert Gassner of Declo, ID and Bernard “Ben” and Mary Biron of West Suffield, CT; Aunt and Uncle Mary Ann and Paul Lafemine and cousin Amanda Lafemine of Somers, CT; Aunt Cynthia Biron and cousin Phillip, his wife Kandi and son Mason Biron of West Suffield, CT; Great Uncle Milo Johonnett of Canyon Lake Texas and his family; as well as, two Stepsisters several step Aunts, Uncles and Cousins in CT and MA. His family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at Johnson Memorial Hospital and Bickford Health Care Center for their kind and compassionate care and his many friends who took the time to visit and encourage him and show their support. Roberts family will receive friends and visitors, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, December 2, at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd., Enfield, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Enfield Loaves and Fishes, Inc. P.O. Box 544, Enfield, CT 06083-0544 or charity of donor’s choice to help someone less fortunate.
