Ronald O'Hara

Ronald K. O'Hara, 67, of Enfield, beloved husband of 47 years to Barbara J. (Biondi) O'Hara, passed from this life on Saturday Nov. 24, 2007 in Middletown, CT. He was born on July 8, 1940 in Wakenda, Missouri, a son of Marjorie (Vassar) O'Hara and the late Raymond L. O'Hara, he had resided in Enfield for the past 28 years. A retired Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force, he had served during the Vietnam War. He was employed for 28 years with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in Middletown, CT. Ronald was a member and teacher at the New Testament Baptist Church, in East Hartford. Besides his wife and mother, Ronald is survived by a son, Michael O'Hara and his wife, Marie of Enfield, a son Jeff O'Hara and his wife, Leanne of Salem, NH, a daughter, Teri Enderle and her husband, Daniel of Woodstock, CT and his seven beloved grandchildren. He also leaves a brother, Lee O'Hara, and two sisters, Bobbi Roach and Kathy Gillam all of CA along with many nieces and nephews. Besides his father he was predeceased by a brother, Allan O'Hara.
Ronald's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday Nov. 28, 2007 from 1 to 2:30pm followed by a Service at the New Testament Baptist Church 111 Ash St. East Hartford, CT and on Thursday Nov. 29, from 4 to 7pm followed by a Service at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, CT 06082. Interment with full military honors will be at the convenience of the family in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Agawam, MA. The family has requested NO FLOWERS. Instead memorial donations in his memory may be made to the New Testament Baptist Church School Fund 111 Ash St. East Hartford, CT 06108-3226.
