Ronald Petit
Ronald Lauren Petit, 69, of West Hartford entered into eternal life on Tuesday Sept. 12, 2006 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs. He was born on Aug. 4, 1937 in Hartford, CT son of the late Robert L. and Mary (Meacham) Petit and resided in W. Hartford for most of his life. Ronald was a self employed carpenter for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and loved 4th of July celebrations. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Kinne and her husband, Christopher of Enfield, a son, Ronald L. Petit, Jr. and his wife, Melissa of Suffield, a daughter, Patti, his five beloved grandchildren, Amber, Zachary, Sydney, Jaime and Ashley, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by three brothers and a sister. A graveside service will be held on Friday Sept. 15, 2006 at 10:00am in Mt. Saint Benedict Cemetery Bloomfield, CT. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart / American Stroke Assoc. 2550 US Highway 1 N. Brunswick, NJ 08902-4301. Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd.
