Ruth Dickinson

Ruth M. (Queor) Dickinson, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest at the age of 81 on Monday (Dec. 23, 2013) at Parkway Pavilion Healthcare. She was the beloved wife of 30 years to the late Bennett E. Dickinson. Ruth was born on July 8, 1932 in Barre, Vermont the daughter of the late John J. and Susan C. (Davis) Queor. Before retiring Ruth was employed with Bob’s Store as a dedicated sales associate for 34 years. In her leisure time she enjoyed playing Bingo, daily visits with her sister-in-law Barb Dickinson and vacationing with her sister and brother-in-law. Ruth is survived by her two daughters; Carol Bernier & husband Robert of Springfield, MA and Deborah Pompi & husband Louis of Enfield, her three loving & cherished grandchildren; Michele Cruz & husband Joel, Robert Bernier & wife Ryann and Daniel Bernier, her great-grandchildren; Robert, Jr, James, Jordan, Daniel, Jr. and Amaiah. She is also survived by a brother John Queor & his wife Ruth of Barre, VT and Mary Groleau & her husband Emile, along with several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may gather with her family on Monday (Dec. 30, 2013) from 10:00 – 11:00a.m., a Memorial & Remembrance Service will follow at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield interment will then take place in the Hazardville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Ct.
