Ruth Althea (Miller) Warnock, 85 of Enfield, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Thursday May 1, 2014 at Blair Manor in Enfield. She was the beloved wife of 51 years to the late Frederick Warnock. Ruth was born on April 19, 1929 in Manchester, CT, the daughter of the late Fred and Dorothy (Larkham) Miller. She had resided in Enfield for the past 54 years, prior to that in Hartford and Manchester. Ruth had been employed as a school bus driver and then with Aetna Insurance Co for 15 years before retiring. In her leisure time she enjoyed crocheting, making ceramics & jigsaw puzzles, Avon collectibles, camping and traveling but her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family. Ruth is survived by her three beloved sons and daughters-in-law; Herb Warnock & wife Jan of Somers, Ric Warnock & wife Gail of Enfield and Keith Warnock & wife Sharon of Enfield, her cherished and loving grandchildren; Stacy &fiancé Ron, Jim, Kelly, Kevin, Kerrigan, Marc, Joshua, Kylee, Mariah and Keith, Jr., and three adored great grandchildren; Keith, III, Conor and Ryan. She is also survived by her siblings; Ralpha Bernardi, Allen Miller, Clara Prokolkin & husband Walter, Joseph Miller & wife Stacia, her sisters-in-law Maria Miller and Jackie Warnock, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents and husband Ruth was predeceased by three brothers; Fred Miller, Jr., Edward Miller and Howard Miller. The family would especially like to thank the Staff at the Felician Sisters Adult Day Care, and Blair Manor for the compassionate and exceptional care given to Ruth. There are no calling hours. Services for Ruth will be private at the convenience of the family. Gravesides service will be held in the Hazardville Cemetery on Tuesday May 6, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., CT Chapter 2075 Silas Deane Hwy. Ste. 100 , Rocky Hill, CT 06067 or to the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 20 North St., Enfield, CT 06082.
