Ruth E. Carenzo, 85, of Enfield, entered into eternal life Sunday, July 9, 2006 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. Born November 8, 1920 in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, she was the daughter of the late Gustave and Ruth (Landry) Carenzo and was a lifelong resident of Enfield. Prior to her retirement Ruth had been employed for 30 years as an executive secretary at Kaman Aircraft. She was a volunteer at Enfield Loves and Fishes for 23 years and had also volunteered for many years with the CT. State Prison Ministry. Ruth enjoyed various arts and crafts. Ruth is survived by her sister Barbara Oliver of Enfield, her brother Joseph Carenzo of Somers and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Carenzo. A Funeral Mass will be held 10 am Wednesday July 12, 2006 in Holy Family Church, Enfield. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
