Ruth G. Galliot, formerly of Windsor and Enfield, CT, died peacefully, December 11, 2009.

She is survived by her son, Lawrence R.; daughter-in-law and friend, Catherine; two granddaughters, Kelsey G. and Darby S.; sons, James J. Jr. and John E.; sister, Lillian; long time friends, Myra and Trish Connolly, Ginny and James Mingrone. She was predeceased by her husband, James J. Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 16, 2010, at 11: a.m. at Saint Gabriels Church, 379 Broad Street, Windsor, CT, burial following at Windsor Veteran's Cemetery. Browne Funeral Home, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield, CT, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904. The family would like to thank the caregivers of Home and Hospice of Rhode Island for providing Ruth dignity, compassion and superb care throughout her illness.
